Shri  Brijbhushan Singh; President W.F.I was invited as chief guest of honour to inaugurate this big event.

·     Wresters from all states of India participated in this national championship.

·     The event was well organized by Sahyadri Kusti Sankul and Sahyadri National School under the great leadership of our chairman Mr. Vijay Barate,Vice president of W.F.I

·     Pick up and drop facility for all participants was arranged by the management.

·     Girl’s accommodation was done at Orchid hotel, a lavish 5 star in Pune. Boy’s accommodation was done at Balewadi Stadium hostel.

·     All participants had a respectful welcome with

·     A  3 day Competition was held at Shri Shivchhatrapati Stadium, Balewadi ,Pune.

·     20th girls cadet wresting championship was held on 13th March.2018

·       37th boys Cadet Greek Roman style was held on 14th and free style was held on 15th March.

·     Dignitaries of W.F.I and coaches of all states attended this event.

·     The winners were greeted with Gold, silver and bronze medals along with certificates.

·     Each winner was honoured with a tracksuit and a 5kg almond bag on behalf of W.F.I and Organizers.

·     In girls overall performance

Haryana State stood first

Maharashtra second and Delhi third.

·     In boys overall performance,

Haryana stood first Delhi second and Maharashtra third.

·     It was a grand, successful event in which our Sahyadri Kusti Sankul wrestlers grabbed three

·      medals at national level, so heartly Congratulations to all the winners.
